Some Nigerians residing in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, have taken to the streets to protest what they described as alleged electoral malpractice by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the recently concluded Presidential and National Assembly (Legislature) elections which held on the 25th of February, 2023 across the country.

Confiance News gathered from a video on Twitter on Tuesday.

The protesters, mostly youths, were carrying placards with inscriptions of Bring back IReV, #INEC must revert to polling units results, BVAS etc on them.

They were also chanting songs with lyrics, “INEC use the BVAS, the BVAS, INEC use the BVAS, BVAS. Our votes must count o! Must count o, our votes, must count o, must count o.”

There are also reports of protests in Asaba, the Delta State capital, demanding that INEC reverts to the original results from the polling units (PUs).
