SDG 4: ACCA unveils Secondary School Teachers’ award

  • Announces opening and closing dates for submission of entries 

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has announced the commencement of a Secondary Schools Teacher’s award.

 

Confiance News gathered from the Country Head, ACCA Nigeria, Tom Isibor on Saturday.

 

He said,”A secondary school teachers award. The form for that will open by the 1st of December and close on the 15th of January 2024.”

 

He added that to achieve its vision of fostering financial literacy in secondary schools, a train the trainer session will be introduced to cater for teachers passionate about teaching financial subjects at secondary schools.

 

“We are going to begin a “train the trainer” session for every secondary school teacher interested in teaching financial subjects,” he disclosed.

 

This is in line with ACCA’s resolve towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
