God did not have to make another pronouncement regarding creation apart from the initial decree which he made on the day they were created.
Pastor Tunji Adeyinka of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Solidrock Paris, disclosed this on Sunday during the September Thanksgiving Service of the church.
Taking his text from the book of Psalms 119:89-91 in the bible, he emphasized the steadfastness of God’s words.
Confiance News gathered that the earth, firmaments and other acts of God are still existing after several years of creation that is the assurance that God’s words never fails.
“Since the world was established, and He said let there be light. He has not said let there be light again. Those are assurances of God and these are the assurances that we must take as our reality,” he said.

“We Christians are not to be defined by what we are going through but to be defined by the word of God.,” Pastor Adeyinka continued.
He noted that the word of God has the capacity to transform lives.
“You enter a plane and you see a classmate you knew back then at school that was struggling and you realise that he is the pilot of the plane. It is the The word was working because forever oh! Lord, your word is settled,” he explained.
Why adversity?
Adversity must occur to birth great accomplishments.
Citing the book of Isaiah 60:1-3(KJV), Adeyinka said:
“The more the darkness, the more the glory of God that will rise upon you.”

“Greatest accomplishments in life have always been birth in the period of great adversity,” pastor Adeyinka stated.
He noted that adversity forces people to press in God.
“Do not doubt yourself; let the word of God be your reality,” Adeyinka stated.
The pastor explained that God made a commitment to you by sacrificing his only son for your sakes.
He said that the only way that the commitment will not work for you is if you do not want it to work.
Don’t call it what they call it
It is not everything that other people say that you should say; talk is cheap.
Reading from the scriptures in Isaiah 8:9-13, Adeyinka said:
“The Lord said, ‘Do not call them a confederacy.’
Some us are so uneducated because of the way we speak.”
He urged Christians to always speak positive and profitable words.
“This place is going to be the best place to live in. Don’t come and ask me how? I don’t know. That is why it is faith. If I know the how, then it is not faith.
It is important that we begin to live our lives like people who believe in the power of God,” he stressed.
What about the “yet” factor?
Your present situation may not look like what you want but the “yet” factor will surely show up when you least expect it.
Citing the book of 2 Kings 3:17 KJV
“For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts,”
Adeyinka said. “Forget what is happening around you. There’s a ‘Yet’ coming into someone’s life this year.
It means no matter what you have defined and you have seen, there’s a “Yet” coming into your life.”
He added that the book of Habakkuk 3:17-18 and 2 Samuel 6:14-16 are some other places where the “yet” factor are highlighted.
He noted that your reality is equal to the word of God.
“If God has not despised you, no man can despise you,” he stated.
