‘I can’t wait to give my all,’ Osimhen reacts to warm welcome by Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker, is excited to be admitted into a new club—Turkish giants— Galatasaray and is itching to give his best.

Confiance News gathered from a post he made on his official X handle on Wednesday.

“Super excited to be part of the Galatasaray family! 🦁 I can’t wait to give my all and make the most of this new journey with such an amazing group and the fans,Ready to create unforgettable memories together! Let’s go! 💛❤️,” he said.

Confiance News recalls that Osimhen’s decision to join Galatasaray came after the transfer window in Europe’s major leagues closed without a deal for him.

However, the Turkish giant still had an open transfer window and urgently needed a striker following an injury to Mauro Icardi.

Osimhen, who was Napoli FC’s favourite strikers known for his dexterity as a centre forward, had 76 goals in 133 matches to his credit, since joining the team in 2020.
