‎A Ghanaian prophet, Ebo Noah, has sparked widespread attention with his claim that God instructed him to build an ark and gather two of every species, warning that the world will face destruction on December 25, 2025.

‎Confiance News
gathered from the X handle of Nigeria Stories on Tuesday.

‎Noah’s announcement a reflection of the biblical story of Noah’s Ark, has ignited a firestorm of reactions across social media, particularly on X.

‎Some X users expressed skepticism and concern.

‎Reacting, Enough 1st Son said,

‎”We should not be gullible

‎Gen 9: 11
‎New Living Translation
‎Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth.”

‎Genesis 9:13-17

‎New King James Version

‎13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

‎Corroborating, @AuronMacintyre called the prophecy “wildly historically inaccurate, biblically inaccurate, and suicidal,” reflecting doubts about its theological grounding. Others, like @Row_Haastrup, shared emotional responses, admitting to palpitations and tears upon hearing the claim, questioning how society reached this point. @GnomeRad drew parallels to environmental crises, likening the prophecy to “the evil darkness in Princess Mononoke,” suggesting a spiritual reckoning. Conversely, @arne__ness dismissed the prophecy as a sign of “profound spiritual weakness,” while @DaProphe7 offered a nuanced take, arguing fear is God-given to prompt reflection.

‎The polarized reactions highlight a divide between believers and skeptics, with some seeing Noah’s message as a divine warning and others as unfounded fearmongering. As December approaches, Noah’s ark continues to fuel debate on faith, prophecy, and humanity’s future.

‎@kinnsokoye “You laugh at him but believe a book? Clap for yourself.”

‎ ‎@groundnut_ninja “Can that ark even float with all of us?”

‎ ‎@Nana “Is this for Ghanaians only or the whole world?”

‎Anonymous: “People mocked Noah too. What if he’s right? ”
