Zenith Bank Plc successfully concluded the fifth edition of its annual Zenith Tech Fair, themed “Future Forward 5.0: Tech for Success – Innovate, Adapt, Accelerate,” in Lagos as Trust Loop and Cubbes Technologies Limited took the top prizes of ₦30 million each.

The two-day event, which held on 19–20 November 2025, brought together technology experts, startups, investors, regulators, and academia to explore the role of technology in driving economic growth.
In her welcome address, the Group Managing Director/CEO, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, described the fair as Zenith Bank’s contribution to building a sustainable digital economy in Nigeria and Africa. She announced a total prize pool of ₦140 million for the hackathon and startup pitch competition.
Confiance News learnt that the eight runners-up received ₦10 million each. All winners also gained access to a six-week mentorship and incubation programme.
The Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, CFR, delivered the opening remarks, emphasising the bank’s continued commitment to fostering innovation. Keynote addresses and masterclasses featured global partners including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), McKinsey & Company, Huawei, Check Point Software, and Aldagram.
Panel sessions moderated by CNN anchor Zain Asher examined topics such as Generative AI, cybersecurity, financial inclusion, and the future of payments.
Speaking at the event, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu commended Zenith Bank for consistently providing a platform that nurtures Nigeria’s next generation of tech entrepreneurs.
The 2025 edition reinforced Zenith Tech Fair’s position as one of Africa’s premier technology events, with the bank already looking ahead to an even bigger Zenith Tech Fair 6.0.
