…calls it budget of Economic Recovery and Resilience

The president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has presented the 2021 draft Appropriation bill to Nigeria’s legislature- the National Assembly (Nass) on Thursday.

Confiance News learnt from a tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari.

He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari has laid down the 2021 budget estimates before the joint session of the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

“President @MBuhari has left the National Assembly after presenting and laying down the 2021 budget estimates before the joint session of the Assembly. Theme of the budget is ‘Economic Recovery And Resilience’.”

“The 2021 budget estimates have statutory transfers of N484.49 billion:

•NNPC = 29.7bn
•NJC = N110bn
•UBEC = N70.05bn
•INEC = N40bn
•NASS = N128bn
•PCC = N5.2bn
•NHRC = N3bn
•Basic Health = N35.03bn.”
