British Council seeks English language teachers abroad

English Language Assistants programme

Apply now to teach English abroad in 2022-23
Hello,

The British Council’s English Language Assistants (ELA) programme 2022-23 is now open for applications. The programme offers paid teaching placements abroad, providing the perfect opportunity to travel, teach and gain invaluable experiences along the way.

Teaching time is limited to between 12 and 20 hours a week, giving you plenty of time to experience the country and pursue other interests.

Key dates

The deadline for the submission of applications is 1 February 2022, 13.00 GMT.
Your nominated referee will then be required to complete their reference submission before 8 February 2022,13.00 GMT.
Early applications are encouraged, and now is a great time to start planning.
