Labour Party of Nigeria’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has announced Doyin Okupe as his running mate.
Confiance News gathered that Okupe’s Vice Presidential candidacy is in a placeholder capacity in order to beat the Friday deadline set by the Nigeria’s electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This implies that Okupe is temporarily standing in for the position as the party finalises the choice of Obi’s running mate.
