Abule Egba pipeline explosion: two confirmed dead

Two people have been confirmed dead over a pipeline explosion suspected to have been vandalised by oil thieves on Sunday night in Ekoro Area, Abule Egba, Lagos State.

Confiance News gathered that the fuel from the vandalised pipeline has spread to Katangowa market, not far from Abule Egba.

Speaking on phone during the TVC News at 10 as monitored by photostory.com.ng, Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu disclosed during the TVC News at 10pm on Sunday.

He said, “The fire started around 8.30pm and we deployed all our machinery to the scene immediately. We are putting out the fire which has affected some houses and produced two casualities.”
