Buttressing on his Facebook page, Nwankwo Everest said, ”

“This is snipet of what I could record while taking safety precautions. This what Buhari meant by I will congratulate myself okwa ya. This is what tinubu meant by he would be watching what’s happening in the dominant Igbo areas in Lagos. Election started late. Few minutes after some election monitors have accessed the area, the hoodlums came with motorcycle and scattered the election material. Everybody ran for their safety including yours sincerely.

“The police officer brought fuel and burnt the ballot paper(I don’t know if it’s a security procedure). The electorate ran after some of the hoodlums, lynched and set them ablaze. In the video you would see the burnt ballot papers. One the culprit held by the electorate, one burnt already and the other still trying to hold on to life while the lynching continues.

“Police came afterwards and everybody had to disperse before police will label innocent electorates ballot snatcher. Nothing is impossible in this country. OPC we see how hard you are working for your boss. A very large Igbo dominated community disenfranchised.

Only God can save us.

Location. Baba ewe Street, Ago Palace Way Okota. Oshodi-Isolo LGA Lagos.”

Everest further disclosed that prior to the fracas, attempts were made to lobby electorates with as much as N15,000, which they turned down.

“People really came out to vote against the incompetent Buhari. People rejected their money in the polling unit. They had resort to force and intimidation. I mean Nigerians are rejecting 10k and 15k. There is a people rising,” Everest continued.

Electorates at the vicinity where the misconduct was wrought as well as stakeholders are pondering on the next steps and action of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
