Confiance News opinion writer Blaise Udunze wins Nestlé Media Award‎

‎Blaise Udunze, an opinion writer with Confiance News has been honoured with an award for his journalistic prowess at the 2025 Nestlé Nigeria Media Award.

‎Udunze, who is also a Public Relations (PR) Professional clinched the third prize winner best story on Business and Economy.

‎He is a seasoned journalist and marketing communications strategist with over a decade of experience spanning business reporting, public relations, investor relations, and corporate reputation management.

‎The Nestlé Media awardee began his career at The Sun Newspaper, where his incisive analyses on banking and economic policy contributed to shaping national discourse. Transitioning into corporate communications, Blaise managed media and stakeholder relations for a commercial bank and has since advised top organizations on reputation strategy and stakeholder engagement.

‎Blaise holds degrees from the University of Lagos and Imo State University, as well as an Executive Master’s from Lagos Business School. He is a certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM), and National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA). He is also a member of the Association of Corporate Communications and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB).

‎Passionate about using communication as a force for truth, reform, and national impact, Blaise continues to bridge the gap between media insight and strategic corporate communication.
