Ecobank notifies customers of delay in funds transfer

Pan-African lender, Ecobank Nigeria Limited, has notified its customers of delay in funds transfer brought about by network fluctuations.

 

Confiance News gathered from a statement signed by the Head, Consumer Banking at the bank, Adeola Ogunyemi, on Wednesday.

 

He said: “Our interbank funds transfer service is currently fluctuating; hence, you may experience a delay in the receipt of funds transferred into your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

“While we are working to resolve this issue, please be assured that all inflows will be credited promptly. Other services on all our electronic platforms remain accessible to you.

 

“For clarification and further assistance, please call our 24/7 Contact Centre at 0700 500 0000 to speak with one of our representatives.”
