Nigeria’s Women’s National Football team (Super Falcons) goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been decorated with the African Female Best Goalkeeper award for year 2023.

Confiance News gathered from the official X handle of Nnadozie.

Elated, Chiamaka took to her X handle to announce her achievement, amid appreciation to her team.

She said: “I am honoured and grateful to have won the AFRICAN FEMALE BEST GOALKEEPER OF THE YEAR.

This is a dream come true for my family and I.

I want to use this platform to appreciate my coaches and teammates for the encouragement and support, and a special thanks to my naija people❤️.”

The award stirred reactions among her fans on social media as they took to her handle to extend congratulatory wishes to her.

Reacting a netizen on X, Adeyemi Nurideen A said, “@Nadoziechiamaka Congratulations.”

Stanley remarked, ” Well deserved champ!!!! More to come, this is just the beginning.”

Chiamaka is also a goalkeeper for Paris FC (Football Club) in the French Division 1 Féminine.
