The counsel to the Nigerian woman that is being dragged over a tomato puree review, Inibehe Effiong has petitioned the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Erisco Foods, Eric Umeofia, for defaming him.

Confiance News gathered from the official X handle of the Lawyer.

He alleged that Eric Umeofia called him a “fake” and “Charge and Bail” lawyer during a live interview on National television.

Inibehe said that he has lost business deals and suffered emotional torture as a result.

‘Chief Eric Umeofia must present his evidence showing that I am a fake lawyer who was out to deceive my client.

I spent five years in the University and one year in the Nigerian Law School before I was admitted into the Nigerian Bar.

My ten years of experience as a lawyer has been threatened by the claims of Umeofia who referred to me as “a fake lawyer” and “a charge and bail lawyer”.

I want justice,’ he said on his official X handle.
