Nigerian lender, Fidelity Bank PLC, has donated 14 giant recycle bins to primary and secondary schools.

Confiance News sighted this on its official X handle on Wednesday.

This is part of the bank’s commitment towards a cleaner and sustainable environment.

It said:

“Through the efforts of our Emerald, Trailblazers, and Crest Knight Inductees Classes, Fidelity Bank has partnered with WeCyclers to donate 14 giant recycle bins to primary and secondary schools inn Lagos.

“As part of our Fidelity Helping Hands Program (FHHP), we’re committed to instilling sustainable habits in the next generation and reducing plastic waste in our communities.

“Together, we’re teaching young minds the importance of recycling for a cleaner, brighter tomorrow!”

Confiance News also gathered that the bank has integrated practices designed to reduce its carbon footprints and conserve natural resources, such as curtailing energy consumption, embracing digital banking, establishing stringent waste management protocols, and promoting green finance.
