How NNPC Ltd chief, Mele Kyari was honoured with royal sword

The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC Limited, Mele Kyari, has been honoured with a royal sword.

Confiance News gathered from the official X handle of Kyari on Monday.

Kyari posted photos of himself and Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, who handed the sword to him.

Reacting to the photos, he said: “Was honored with a royal sword by the Deji of Akure Kingdom. A profound gift, from his grace, humbled by the deep thoughts, fulfilling to be associated with Chief Pius Akinyelure and my Aburo Lekan. Grateful to his Majesty, Kabiyesi, the Deji of Akure Kingdom.”
