less than one week to exit office as governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has commissioned the remodelled Stella Obasanjo Hospital in the state.

Confiance News gathered from the official X handle of the governor on Tuesday.

Reacting to the commissioning, he said: “Honoured to welcome to Benin, His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR; our Baba, as we commission the newly reconstructed Stella Obasanjo Hospital in his late wife’s honour.”

Corroborating, the Honourable Commissioner for Digital Economy, Science and Technology of the state, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, said: “There’s no aspect of the Edo Economy that we didn’t do well. Our Government made promises and kept her promises.

Today, we have Commissioned the rebuilt and remodeled Stella Obasanjo Hospital; one of the most sophisticated Government owned medical facilities in Nigeria that will provide secondary and tertiary medical services to/for Edo people and Nigerians generally. Indeed! We have a good story to tell and we are proud of it.

Thank you Governor Godwin Obaseki, I am proud to have served Edo people with you.”
