Insurance, pension heavyweights named as panelists for 9th BusinessToday annual conference

A leading media company, BusinessToday Communication Limited, has unveiled the list of panelists for the BusinessToday Annual conference and Exhibition.

Confiance News gathered from a statement issued by the organization on Monday.

BusinessToday Communication Limited, which is also the organisers of BusinessToday Annual conference and Exhibition, disclosed that the event, will take place on the 3rd of April at the Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, by 10:00am with the theme: “Banking on The Future: Youths, Pension & Insurance Penetration”

Confiance News learnt that the conference, which is in its 9th edition, will have a group of highly experienced professionals from top businesses and digital marketing communications organizations who are bringing their unique insights and real-world expertise to the event.

Members of the panel session for this year’s conference are: Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu, Managing Director/CEO, REX Insurance Limited; Oguche Agudah, CEO, Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (PenOp);
Stephen Alangbo, Group Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Cornerstone Insurance Plc; Iremide Olatunji, Data @nalytics Elites Global Ltd and Olamide Olajolo, Managing Director/CEO, Coronation Insurance Plc.

The chairman of the day is the doyen of insurance and pension sectors, a Chartered Insurer, Dr. Olufemi Oyetunji, Chairman, Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited, while Managing Director/CEO, Marble Capital Limited and 2nd Vice President Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Dr. Akeem Oyewale, will be the Keynote Speaker.

The statement further revealed that Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Omolola Oloworaran and the Commissioner for Insurance/CEO, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Mr. Olusegun Omosehin are the special guests expected at the event.

The Chairman, Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), Kunle Ahmed; President Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (PenOp), Mr. Christopher Bajowa; President of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, (CIIN), Mrs. Yetunde Ilori and Mrs. Bola Odukale, DG NIA, among others have confirmed their presence at the event.

Also expected at the event are Managing Director/CEOs of insurance and Pension firms; Director General, Nigerian insurers Association (NIA); Mrs. Bola Odukale and President of Nigerian
Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).

Others are: Students of insurance (Laspotech); Department of Actuarial Science & Insurance, University of Lagos; Trinity University Yaba, Lagos; students of YabaTech; Colleges of Insurance; Junior and Senior Secondary Schools; Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria, Lagos Chapter; Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN); members of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers; pension and Insurance marketers and Tech officers.

The conference is expected to host over 250 youths within Lagos.
