Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to crack down on landlords who rent their houses to internet fraudsters popularly called Yahoo boys.

Confiance News gathered from an invitation to the public for a forum titled, “Landlord give your house to Yahoo Boys, spend 15 years in jail” posted the official Twitter handle of EFCC on Tuesday.

The forum which will hold on Wednesday, it disclosed, is aimed at educating Nigerians on the consequences of having malefactors in their property.

“Be part of this interesting conversation as we discuss the implications of having your property in use by criminals, on the next edition of #EFCCConnect,” it tweeted.

The anti-graft agency had repeatedly warned owners of commercial properties against making them available to fraudsters.
