The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has denied the recent publications in some online platforms of its recruitment exercise.

Confiance News gathered from a disclaimer signed by the Director, Communications and Public Affairs at NDIC, Mohammed Ibrahim and posted on its website.

The statement read: “The attention of the Management of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has been drawn to a report on the online platforms of the Financial Watch and Latest Nigerian News titled – “NDIC Recruitment Portal 2020: Requirements & How to Apply – www.ndic.gov.ng”.

” The article offered to provide “latest updates on NDIC 2020 recruitment requirements, qualifications, guidelines and other important updates for free”.

NDIC further revealed that the publishers of the purported recruitment exercise went further to provide a link for unsuspecting applicants to apply.

The article, the Corporation disclosed, also asked applicants who might need help with more update information on the purported recruitment to provide their names and email address on the author’s contact page.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Corporation hereby states categorically that it has not appointed any agent or consultant to facilitate a non-existing exercise.

The NDIC seizes this opportunity to urge the general public to disregard the said report and to also refer all enquiries regarding all forms of solicitation or false representation on behalf of the NDIC by contacting us on the Toll-free NDIC Help Desk: 080063424357 or e-mail: helpdesk@ndic.gov.ng.
