At the Thanksgiving Service of the the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Solidrock parish, the Provincial Pastor of Lagos Province (LP) 40, Bola Odutola, dished out these prayers.
He noted that for effective prayers, and to boost your faith, it is important to understand the size and capacity of the God you are praying to. He is so great that His greatness is unsearchable.
Understanding the Greatness of God Before You Pray
- Psalm 145:3 reminds us: “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.”
- God’s greatness is beyond human language—He is infinitely powerful.
- To grasp this, consider Stephenson 2.18, one of the largest known stars, far greater than Earth. Yet even this cosmic giant cannot compare to the Creator’s majesty.
Prophetic Declarations for Breakthrough
No More Stagnation
1 Kings 19:15–19
I declare: I shall not be stagnant. My life must move forward in divine performance.
Manifestation of Forgotten Words
Just as Jehu was forgotten until Elisha remembered (2 Kings 9:1), every word spoken over my life shall manifest.
End of Delay
I decree: No more delay in my destiny. Everything held back must be released now.
