On Monday, February 15, 2021, Nigerian born Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala took to her official Twitter handle to express her gratitude to World Trade Organisation (WTO) for finalising her election as the first woman to become the Director-General of WTO.

In honour of the noble position, Confiance News has compiled some iconic photos of Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala in her journey to becoming ‘Madam WTO chair’.
