SEC, NCMI to introduce seven new schools to boost capital market literacy

Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission through its subsidiary, Nigerian Capital Market Institute (NCMI) has said that it would unveil six new schools by 2024, in addition to a school on sustainability finance.

 

The Managing Director of the institute, Emomotimi Agama, revealed at the workshop held for journalists in Lagos State by the Commission on Tuesday.

 

He said: “We are introducing seven schools. We are going to have an Investment Banking School, an Investment Management School, a Corporate Governance School, Islamic Finance School and a Fintech School. All these things will come on board next year. In the future, we will create a school of Sustainability Finance.”
