‎Seplat Energy’s robust H1 2025: Revenue hits N2.167 trn, achieves safety milestone

‎Seplat Energy PLC, a top Nigerian independent energy firm listed on the Nigerian and London Stock Exchanges, released its unaudited financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting a revenue surge to N2.167 trillion, up from N575.1 billion in the same period last year.

‎Confiance News gathered that gross profit climbed to N751.2 billion from N247.5 billion year-on-year.

‎Seplat Energy said that operational cash flow increased to N1.188 trillion from N308.2 billion, while operating profit grew to N601.2 billion from N285.2 billion year-on-year.


‎The company maintained robust production, supporting its full-year 2025 guidance. EBITDA for the six months reached N1.139 trillion, up from N364.5 billion in H1 2024.


‎Average production hit 134,492 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), a 178% increase from 48,407 boepd in H1 2024, exceeding the 2025 guidance midpoint of 120–140 kboepd and 10% above pro-forma production in H1 2024. Working interest oil production averaged 100,327 barrels of oil per day (bopd).


‎Seplat Energy also recorded over 15.3 million man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) on its operated assets.
