‘She needs rehab,’ Netizens react to late Emir Bayero’s daughter’s cry

X, has been thrown into a frenzy over a video made by the daughter of Nigeria’s longest-serving Emir, the late Ado Bayero (1963-2014), because her cry for help; as netiziens react.

Confiance News gathered from remarks made regarding a post made by the former Special Assistant on Digital Communications to Muhammadu Buhari (Former President of Nigeria), Bashir Ahmad.

Ahmad took to his official X handle and made an appeal to the Kano State government to come to the aid of Zainab, who made a video where she was stranded on the streets of Lagos State.

He said: “What I know is that Kano State, under both former Governor Ganduje and current Governor Abba Kabir, has extended support to Zainab Bayero and her family not once. In the spirit of compassion and in honor of her late father, our beloved Emir, we are appealing once again to Kano State Government to come to her aid. She is our sister and a member of the Kano royal family.”

Reacting to the post, @ayofe72 said: “She needs rehab.”

khone stressed: “Yes, the government should check her into a psychiatric hospital for mental evaluation.”

Corroborating, Dava stated: “This time she wasted doing this video she could have used it to call her brother the other emir for assistance and she needs to be checked into a hospital for care.”

Others suggest she should get herself a job.

Onye Spare Parts added: “How about she gets a job?

George Ager said: “She needs to go and get a job.”

Some are of the opinion that she should not feel entitled since she has been offered help in the past.

Confiance News gathered that Zainab Ado-Bayero has ventured into filmmaking, despite the challenges of coming from a conservative royal family. Her first project is a documentary titled “My Father, The Emir: A Portrait of Ado Bayero,” which honors her father’s legacy.
