A Nigerian legislator, Senator Shehu Sani, has commended the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Ltd. for it’s role in the completion of the Porthacourt Refinery and the subsequent work ongoing at the Warri refinery in the country.

Confiance News gathered from the official X handle of the legislator.

“Dangote Refinery is commendably operating as scheduled and the NNPCL is keeping faith with the supplies of crude oil; This is progress. The commencement of the PH refinery and the ongoing work on the Warri refinery are also progress made.Kudos to the NNPCL & the FG on this,” he stated.

Reacting to his post is Paul Samson O said, “Absolutely, the progress made by the Dangote Refinery is truly commendable, and it’s great to see that the NNPCL is keeping up with the supply of crude oil as promised. The commencement of the Port Harcourt refinery and the ongoing work on the Warri refinery are significant steps forward for Nigeria’s energy sector. Kudos indeed to the NNPCL and the Federal Government for their efforts in making this happen!”

Confiance News recalls that on December 21, 2023, NNPC Ltd. issued a statement announcing the mechanical completion of the Porthacourt refinery.
