‎A Nigerian agro-commodities firm has unlocked over ₦150 billion from the capital markets in a single multi-series commercial paper transaction, according to a statement by FMDQ Exchange, as sighted by Confiance News on its official website on Tuesday.

‎Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited has secured the quotation of ₦150.41 billion worth of Series 1 to 3 Commercial Papers on FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited, in one of the more significant multi-series CP issuances recorded on the Nigerian capital markets this cycle, Confiance News learnt.

‎The issuance falls under a ₦200.00 billion CP Programme approved by FMDQ Exchange. Chapel Hill Denham Advisory Limited served as Lead Sponsor, with AVA Capital Partners Limited and Meristem Capital Limited acting as co-sponsors, all registered as Registration Members (Quotations) of FMDQ Exchange, documents sighted by Confiance News show.

‎FMDQ Exchange confirmed to Confiance News that Sunbeth, a leading agro-commodities sourcing, trading, and processing enterprise, that net proceeds from the issuances will be channelled into strengthening working capital, funding strategic business expansion, and consolidating the company’s long-term financial base across Nigeria’s agricultural export value chain.

‎Commenting on the development, Ms. Tumi Sekoni, Group Chief Operating Officer of FMDQ Group PLC, was quoted as saying: “The quotation of Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited’s CPs is a powerful demonstration of the depth and maturity of Nigeria’s capital markets.”

‎Sekoni added that FMDQ Exchange remains committed to providing a transparent, efficient, and well-regulated platform that empowers corporates to access growth financing.

‎”Sunbeth’s multi-series issuance reflects growing investor confidence in well-structured Nigerian corporate credits, and we are proud to serve as the listing platform of choice for this transaction,” she said.

‎The quotation is the latest in a string of corporate market-based financing activities on FMDQ Exchange, details of which were obtained by Confiance News, as the Exchange continues to deepen liquidity and broaden investor participation across Nigeria’s financial markets.

‎FMDQ Group PLC holds the distinction of being Africa’s first vertically integrated financial market infrastructure group. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include FMDQ Exchange, FMDQ Clear Limited, FMDQ Depository Limited, and FMDQ Private Markets Limited. The group also operates the FMDQ Green Exchange, described as Africa’s premier green exchange.
