‎”Anytime you are off prayers, you should be afraid. Anytime you are off meditation, you should be scared,” Odutola proclaimed to an overflowing congregation at the provincial headquarters, with the event live-streamed to thousands more via RCCG’s digital platforms. “Your adversary is robust, dexterous in mischief. The only way to rise against him and discern Satan’s next move is to dwell in God’s secret place – a place of communion where the blueprint, answer, and cure for satanic manipulations are revealed. Your life is a project that must not be truncated.”

‎Odutola began with Psalm 17:9, praying, “May I not be a victim in the hand of my deadly enemy. Wherever my name is uttered for evil, may the Lord Jesus Christ appear. The forces of the adversary and contrary forces will not bring me down.” He prophesied breakthroughs, affirming, “Before this year runs out, I will take giant steps,” anchored in Psalm 41:2’s promise: “God will not hand me over to the will of my enemy.”

‎Drawing from Jonah 1:4, the provincial pastor issued a stark fiscal and personal caution: “I will not use my money to buy what will shorten my life. I will not use my energy to shorten my life.” He called for redirecting resources toward eternal investments, adding, “Whenever evil is looking for me, let Christ intercept it. Let the Almighty show up on my behalf, and my life will be preserved. I will not die before my time.”

‎Odutola dissected the perils of spiritual complacency, likening it to hidden illnesses. “Satan looks for that routine thing you do to strike. Hopelessness and helplessness are two terrible combinations – Father, for the rest of my days, they will not be my portion,” he declared. “When conspiracy is plotted against me, they will not succeed.”

‎A highlight was his exposition of Jeremiah 39:1-12, spotlighting the ironic mercy shown to Prophet Jeremiah by Babylonian King Nebuchadrezzar – the same ruler who devastated Judah. “Isn’t it baffling that the same hands that killed others spared Jeremiah?” Odutola marveled. “In verses 11 and 12, Jeremiah was protected because he dwelt in the secret place of the Lord (Psalm 91:1). When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:7).”

‎Turning introspective, Odutola challenged the flock: “Christians, see to it that your spiritual vitals are sound – just as we check our physical health. I’ve known sick people who lived longer than the healthy because they recognized their state. Many don’t know they’re spiritually sick until they die.”

‎He portrayed the secret place – a “Bethel” of encounter – as essential for supernatural strategy. “It’s where the God of man meets the man of God, a place of insights and current security reports,” he explained. “The spiritual world is where things are written and rewritten; to ignore it is a risk. Your dream is inferior to Scriptures. I respect what I see for myself more than any prophet. Here, futuristic threats are detected, fought, and won before manifestation. May God not leave you information-less. May you have a tip-off on events to come. May I not walk into a trap.”

‎Evoking vivid imagery, Odutola warned, “The death of a deaf man can be discussed in his presence. May your spiritual ears be permanently open – and if not, God will bypass any blockage to speak to you.” He likened the spiritual realm to a chessboard: “The day you understand movements in the supernatural, you’ll ridicule Satan. He roars like a lion, but we are the sheep – and God Himself has allocated Himself as our Shepherd. When you wander from the secret place, danger lurks nearby. But regularity there brings a massive de-escalation of death.”
