The crucifixion of Jesus Christ turned out to be a major satanic error that cannot be reversed.

The Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Solidrock Parish, Bola Odutola, told his congregants on Sunday.

Reading from the book of 2 Corinthians 2:8 in the bible, he said, “Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

Expatiating, Odutola said:”Satan is not all knowing. He will be pursuing you to kill until he drives you into heaven. The death and resurrection of God, brought damage to the kingdom of satan.

“The Provincial Pastor stated that while the disciples were sleeping, some women went with spices very early to the cemetery to see Jesus Christ. When they got there, they found an empty tomb and were told that he had risen.

According to the book of Luke 24:10 from the scriptures, the women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them.

He noted that one would have expected the disciples to be the first to go to the tomb to see Jesus but it was the women who did that.

“There are the christians which you do not know but only Christ knows them,” he said.

Believing is critical

According to Copilot, believing is the present participle of the verb “believe“—it describes the ongoing action or process of holding a belief.

Belief on the other hand, is a noun—it refers to a conviction or acceptance that something is true or exists. It’s more of a fixed idea or principle.

Essentially, belief is the state or concept, while believing is the act of holding onto that belief.

Odutola stated that believing in Christ Jesus and all he portends is the major ingredient in Christianity.

He said: “Believing Christ is not a small matter. If not for that why does unbelief drive people into hell. This element of believing Jesus Christ is the major issue.”

He noted that Thomas, one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, doubted the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“That was why God said blessed are those who have not seen Christ yet believed,” Odutola noted.

He added that those blaming Adam (the first man that was created) for their sins do not have a valid excuse for their sins.

Odutola said: “Jesus Christ successfully lived a sinless life for 33 years. You would have been better than Adam, if after you were converted, you never sinned.”

“He atoned for the sins of old, he has atoned for the sin of now and he will atone for the sin of the future,” the Provincial Pastor continued.

He said, “The book of Jeremiah 50:20 is the summary of the work at Calvary.”
