The reason why the book of Acts in the scriptures is the only book that did not close with the word “amen” is because the acts of God is eternal.

Confiance News gathered from the provincial pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solidrock Parish, Pastor Bola Odutola, on Sunday.

“The book of Acts did not close with the word amen because the acts of God has not stopped and does not stop.
When this world stops, the acts of God cannot stop. There are some testimonies when they are shared, you too will bear witness that this is God,” he said.

Continuing, he said, “The creative work of God is in six days. His maintaining, sustaining and propelling power of what he has made is eternal.”

Citing the book of Deuteronomy 29:3-5, Odutola stressed how God sustained the Israelites and ensured that they did not lack the basic needs of man.

“Wilderness is not a small place. There are animals configured for the wilderness.
They didn’t note this (their clothes and shoes didn’t wear out). There are acts of God that cannot be noted unless you give your hearts to it. The God who made the mountains and the oceans was talking about shoes. Do you know the name of shoes? You are complaining that you have not bought shoes but He is telling you that the one you brought from Ijebu Ode has not waxed old.
They didn’t thank God that they have foot that they can put inside shoe,” the RCCG pastor pointed.
