There is need for every diligent Christian must interrogate themselves.

That was the submission of the Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solidrock Parish, Pastor Bola Odutola, during a sermon on Sunday.

Confiance News gathered that having a monologue allows you to assess your walk with God.

Taking his text from the book of 1 Timothy 4:15, he said that it is an aberration to serve God without an evidence.

“It is an error to be shouting Jesus! Jesus! and at the end of the day you don’t have any evidence to show for it.”

“In the year 2025, you must think about yourself. This year must not be wasted. If you must be honest to yourself, there are years that are wasted.”

Expatiating, he cited the book of Isaiah 45:19; noting that Christians are not called to serve God in vain.

“In Year 2025, my profiting shall begin to appear to all. What God has not said is as strong as what he has said,” he continued.

It’s time to get to your senses

The man Jacob struggled for a long time, under is father-in-law, Laban, until he came to his senses.

Odutola, reading from the book of Genesis 31:38-42 said: “This is Jacob. His ancestors did well for themselves. Abraham prospered, and Isaac prospered but he was struggling.

“Jacob had a covenant but he did not activate it. He would have suffered empty and died empty-handed. Were it not that God intervened, he (Laban) would have sent him out empty handed.”
