Nigerians stage protests against shortage of new naira notes, fuel (See videos)

Nigerians in some parts of the country have staged protests over the current state of the economy, which is characterized by shortage of newly redesigned naira notes and fuel.

Confiance News gathered from viral videos posted on Twitter by eye witnesses on Friday.

The protests took place along Iwo road in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, southwestern Nigeria.

In the same vein, it another protest was staged on Marina in Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria.

Warri, a town in Delta State, South south of Nigeria was not left out in the protest.
