Are raw carrots better than cooked carrots

Both raw and cooked carrots have their own nutritional benefits, but they differ in some key ways.

However, cooked carrots have increased beta-Carotene. This is so because cooking carrots increases the availability of beta-carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A.

Vitamin A is known to be essential for vision. Beta -Carotene aids immune function, and skin health.

More so, cooked carrots are softer and easier to digest, which can be helpful for some people.

It is noteworthy to state that both forms are nutritious, but if you’re looking for a boost in vitamin A, cooked carrots might be the better option. If you want more vitamin C and fiber, stick with raw carrots.
