A social media influencer, Daniel Regha, has incurred the wrath of social media users over a distasteful comment he made concerning the newly launched watch collection of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Confiance News gathered that Ronaldo had announced the unveiling of his watch collection on his X handle on Sunday.
He said: “I’ve always dreamed of having my own watch collection. The Jacob & Co. Flight of CR7 & the Heart of CR7 takes inspiration from some of my most iconic moments on the field. I hope you like them as much as I do.”
Ronaldo’s post sparked reactions. One of them was from Regha, who said: “Ronaldo could’ve easily done this collaboration with just his image, but !nstead makes the center of attention his former club. This is a big d!srespect to Manchester United.”
Regha’s post infuriated many, who are mostly Ronaldo’s fans on X.
Ben Henry, an X user, said: “You’re a very big fool.”
$ef€ral explained: “Please where is the disrespect or am I not reading d caption well….. The goal could have been any goal n he has lots of them asides these 2 and the jerseys are ordinary no colours to tell which club it is or where is the problem pls?”
Dr Iszzy said: “Ronaldo is more successful than Chelsea history.”

Swirlz Empire asked: “Must u criticize??”
There were also X users who seemed to corroborate Regha’s view. Mukansingh Sisodiya is one of them. He said:”Cristiano Ronaldo’s watch has his iconic header against Manchester United in it.”
Beyond Regha’s remark, there were dozens who congratulated Ronaldo for his dream come true.
Danny, an X user, said: “I’m buying one ASAP.”
Rey Charles stated: “Congratulations CR7.”
Mathapelo said:”Legend.”
King Solomon stated: “My GOAT knows the game ❤️❤️.”
Confiance News learnt that Portuguese born soccer legend, Ronaldo, has had successful stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and currently at Al Nassr in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Flight of CR7 & the Heart of CR7 watch collection is actually not his first entrepreneurial outing. Confiance News gathered that he has been engaged in business even before the launch; his CR7 brand, which encompasses clothing, accessories, hotels, and gyms are evidence of his entrepreneurial feats.
