FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited has approved the quotation of SKLD Integrated Services Limited’s ₦0.86 billion Series 1 and ₦6.44 billion Series 2 Commercial Papers under its ₦10 billion CP Programme, Confiance News has learned.
The approval, granted by the Exchange’s Board Listings and Markets Committee, reinforces FMDQ Exchange’s position as a trusted platform for market-based financing and highlights growing corporate adoption of commercial paper instruments across key sectors of the Nigerian economy, including logistics and supply chain services.
SKLD Integrated Services Limited is a leading provider of integrated logistics and supply chain solutions across Nigeria, with operations spanning fleet management, warehousing, haulage, and distribution. It was gathered that net proceeds from the CP issuances, sponsored by Mulberry Advisory Services Limited as Lead Sponsor alongside AIICO Capital Limited and Apel Asset Limited, all Registration Members (Quotations) of FMDQ Exchange, will be deployed to strengthen SKLD’s working capital position, fund operational expansion, and boost its capacity to deliver logistics solutions nationwide.
Speaking on the development, Group Chief Operating Officer of FMDQ Group PLC, Ms. Tumi Sekoni, said the quotation reflects the broadening appeal of Nigeria’s capital markets to issuers across critical economic sectors. She noted that logistics and supply chain infrastructure remain foundational to sustainable economic growth, adding that FMDQ Exchange was proud to provide SKLD with a credible platform for short-term funding. She further stated that the transaction underscores the Exchange’s commitment to connecting well-structured corporate issuances with Nigeria’s growing investor community.
It was confirmed that FMDQ Exchange remains focused on transforming Nigeria’s capital markets through a dynamic, technology-driven platform that supports issuers and investors alike, with strong emphasis on regulatory excellence and transparency.
FMDQ Group PLC is Africa’s first vertically integrated financial market infrastructure group, operating through its subsidiaries FMDQ Exchange, FMDQ Clear Limited, FMDQ Depository Limited, and FMDQ Private Markets Limited, across the debt capital, derivatives, and equity markets.
