Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, has marked President Bola Tinubu’s third year in office with a glowing tribute, crediting his administration with economic reforms and renewed national momentum.

‎All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, issued a congratulatory statement praising what he described as “remarkable strides” recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda since Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023.

‎Confiance News gathered from a post made on the official X handle of the Chairman on Friday.

‎”Three years ago, Nigerians entrusted the leadership of our great nation into the hands of a visionary leader with courage, experience, resilience and an unwavering commitment to national development,” Yilwatda said.

‎The APC chairman cited bold economic reforms, infrastructure investment, improvements in security architecture and the expansion of social intervention programmes as key achievements of the administration. He added that strategic policies had helped stabilise the economy and restore confidence among Nigerians.

‎Yilwatda, Confiance News reports, also highlighted youth empowerment, economic diversification, educational development, healthcare improvement and infrastructural renewal as sectors where the Renewed Hope Agenda had recorded visible progress.

‎”Your courage in taking difficult but necessary decisions for the future of our dear country reflects true statesmanship and patriotic leadership,” the APC chairman stated.

‎He concluded by offering prayers for the president’s health, wisdom and continued leadership, urging divine guidance in the decisions ahead.

‎Tinubu’s third anniversary comes amid ongoing debate among Nigerians over the pace and impact of his administration’s reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market, policies that triggered a sharp rise in the cost of living.
