The governor of Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the full reopening of worship centres in the state.

He said this during a briefing in Lagos on Saturday.

The governor said mosques can hold their prayers five times daily while churches can also commence weekly services.

Confiance News recalls that worship centres were shutdown in Lagos State in March after an index case was reported on the 27th of February, 2020, which was part of measures to contain the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
