FIRS Chief, Nami, holds talks with HMOs on tax obligations, exemptions (In Photos)

The Chairman of Nigeria’s tax regulator, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Muhammad Nami, alongside heads of Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) have examined the tax obligations and exemptions of the later with the intent of improving the country’s health sector.

Confiance News gathered from the official Twitter handle of FIRS on Tuesday.

“Today, I met with the DG of the National Health Insurance Authority, Prof M. Sambo alongside heads of some HMOs. We discussed the tax obligations of health institutions as well as the exemptions they enjoy under our tax laws. It was a productive conversation & beneficial meeting,” Nami tweeted.
