Nigeria LNG Limited has clinched the Operational Excellence Award at the 2026 Energy Awards, Confiance News has confirmed.
Award recognises process optimisation and safety culture
The honour was presented at the 25th anniversary edition of NOG Energy Week, held from July 5 to 9, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja. It was learned by Confiance News that the award recognises organisations demonstrating outstanding operational performance through process optimisation, enhanced reliability, improved efficiency, cost effectiveness and sustainable business practices.
NOG Energy Week 2026 brought together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, investors and technology providers to chart the future of Nigeria’s energy sector, making it one of Africa’s premier energy gatherings.

Confiance News gathered that NLNG maintained a strong presence throughout the conference and exhibition, participating in strategic discussions on gas development, operational excellence, sustainability, innovation and Nigeria’s role in global energy security.
