Pregnant woman delivers baby inside flood

A pregnant woman has been delivered of her baby amid the ravaging flood in Rivers state.

Confiance News gathered from the Twitter handle of a tweep known as Mindset on Tuesday.

“This is the situation of things in Nigeria.

This Woman delivered a baby inside a flood in Rivers State,” he tweeted.

Confiance News also gathered from a statement released by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq on October 13, that more than 500 lives have been lost, more than 1.4 million persons affected, about 90,000 homes are either partially or completely destroyed.

Farouq further disclosed that 27 out of the 36 states of the federation have been affected by flood.
