The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has unveiled a new slogan.

Confiance News gathered from the Official X handle of the organisation.

“The ECFIRS Zacch Adedeji PhD, unveiled the new FIRS slogan at the Headquarters on May 23, 2023,” the post revealed.

The Executive Chairman of FIRS said that the winning slogan “Simplifying Tax, Maximising Revenue” was a result of the Buzzword Initiative which was meant to key into the customer-centric vision the new FIRS has embarked on.

Reacting to the slogan, Adedeji said, ‘Following the need to create awareness and build consciousness, the buzzword competition aimed to achieve the following objectives:

‘To create a phrase that is catchy, memorable, relevant and reflective of our vision, mission and core values.

‘To promote inclusiveness in line with our core values of “Collective Responsibility”.

‘To display the FIRS’s brand’s identity of a customer-centric organisation.

‘To open the space for FIRS to cultivate an internal culture and external perception that impact positively on revenue generation.”
