Heaven determines what happens to you here on earth.

Confiance News gathered from a sermon delivered by Pastor Adewale Olawale of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) during an event organised by the RCCG, Solidrock Parish, in Lagos.

“How you will be treated here on earth is dependent on God. If you see a man that people say is good, it is not because he is good, it is because God has smiled on him. No man is good on earth. The way you are going to be treated is determined in heaven so connect with heaven,” Olawale explained.

The pastor said that God created the heavens first before creating the earth, hence heaven is superior to the earth and whatever you need comes from heaven.

In an attempt to define heaven, he said:”Heaven simply means what money cannot buy.”

Taking his text from Haggai 1:10 in the bible, he said that heaven waits on our prayers to act.

“If there is no dew and rain from heaven

All you need to do is to ask God to send the rain here on earth so that there will be plenty food,” the pastor continued.

Citing the book of Genesis 22: 15-17, he said that

despite that God swore by Himself to bless Abraham, yet the promise/prophecy was delayed because he failed to pray for the manifestation.

The pastor said:”Prayer is waiting for instruction from the mouth of somebody. So, if you close your mouth despite all the promises, it may not happen

Before the heaven will act, it is waiting for you to pray.”

“Until you have prayed through, there can be no breakthrough. That is the relationship between heave

n and earth,” he harped.
