‎In a timely and urgent New Year message delivered at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Solidrock Parish in Lagos Province 40, Pastor Bola Odutola has issued a stirring prophecy for 2026, emphasizing the supreme need for spiritual power amid rising global threats and hidden dangers. Drawing from Matthew 2:13-19, the Provincial Pastor warned that “elaborate plots to take people out” are already underway in this fresh year—but declared that they will fail for those connected to divine intelligence and protection.

‎Confiance News
gathered that as the world reels from shocking events like the recent U.S. military capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife on January 3, 2026—described by Pastor Odutola as military power enabling one nation to “capture a president and his wife like chicken”—the message highlights why no such action could succeed against nuclear-armed nations like Pakistan. Yet, the pastor stressed that the ultimate superior power is spiritual, far above political, economic, or military might.

‎Key Highlights from Pastor Bola Odutola’s 2026 Message:

‎Pastor Odutola anchored his sermon on the biblical account of God’s angelic warning to Joseph: “Take the child and go to Egypt… remain there until I bring the word.” This, he explained, represents divine “security reports” that preempt danger. “Before the thought was conceived in the heart of Herod, Jesus had moved,” he said, assuring believers that God reveals life-saving information ahead of time.

‎- Declarations for 2026 Protection:
‎ “In year 2026, I will not be a ransom for any. I will not be a sacrifice for any.”
‎ “May you have custody of life-saving information; one information can rescue you from tragedy.”

‎The pastor referenced boxer Anthony Joshua’s recent narrow escape from death in a fatal car crash in Nigeria on December 29, 2025—where two close friends perished but Joshua survived with minor injuries—as an example of divine spiritual intervention.

‎He distinguished between medical and spiritual life-saving information, praying: “May you never be deprived of power.”

‎Accessing Divine Power in 2026

‎True power, according to Pastor Odutola, flows from dwelling “in the secret place of the Most High” (Psalm 91). This is the realm of “celestial breaking news” and current divine affairs, where believers receive timely guidance: “May you always know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.”

‎For 2026, he proclaimed:
‎”In year 2026, each and every day shall be unto me a day of celebration. A day of victory.”
‎Victory implies battles fought and won—but only when Christians fight strategically.

‎Fight Like a Lion: The Two Sides of a Christian in 2026

‎Pastor Odutola urged believers to discern when to be a “sheep” (meek and submissive) and when to deploy as a “lion” (bold and fierce). “If you deploy yourself like a sheep when you are supposed to deploy yourself like a lion, you will become a casualty. But if you deploy like a lion when you are supposed to fight like a lion, you will win.”

‎He concluded with a promise of deliverance: “You will be delivered from every fowler” (every trap and snare of the enemy).

‎This prophetic word comes at a pivotal moment, offering hope and strategy for navigating 2026’s challenges through unwavering spiritual connection. As plots may intensify, Pastor Odutola’s message calls believers to prioritize the superior power that moves heaven’s intelligence on their behalf.

‎For those seeking divine protection and victory in 2026, dwelling in God’s secret place remains the ultimate safeguard.
