Many are victims of decisions (mostly negative), contracts, directives, events etc which they were never privy to, hence, the need for a proactive approach towards the numerous backstage activities that occur in one’s lifetime.
Confiance News gathered from Pastor of the Solid Rock parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Bola Odutola, in one of his series on Backstage Activities.
According to Pastor Odutola,
Backstage Activities are the things occurring behind the scenes.

Citing the book of 1 Chronicles 21:1-14 in the bible, he, explained how satan coaxed David to carryout a census.
Pastor Odutola noted that satan was hunting for the people of Isreal, in order to achieve his aim, he went to David. Nevertheless, the Isrealites who later became victims of his action were neither consulted or informed before the decision about the census was taken.
“Were the people of Isreal aware of the discussion that David had with Joab? No.
Some people are discussing somethings somewhere that will hit or affect you.
Whether you’re conscious of it or not, exactly what happened here is what happened in Ukraine and Russia. In the case of Ukraine and Russia, who was the devil hunting for? He was hunting for Ukrainians and Russians,” the clergyman noted.
He added that satan was “hunting for pregnant women who will never become mothers; families where he will create orphans; He was hunting for families where peace will disappear forever; He was hunting for fathers who will live in sorrow for the rest of their days. Where did he go to Putin, not Russia.”
“Satan went to meet Putin. The devil will analyse it for him in a suggestive way. Now, look at the devastation going on. Just because one man recieved an information from the wrong place and could not say no.
How many women are crying now? Thousands. Only in Ukraine? No. Russia is believed to have lost more people than Ukraine.
How did it start? “And satan provoked Putin to kill Russians and Ukrainians. This is the way it occurs,” he continued.
Odutola noted that the devil the world is contending with, is an improved devil. He added that he has tackled too many great men.
“He has engaged moses. He has engaged Adam. He has engaged Job. So, to now engage us is casual. How to operate? He knows.
The perfect example of what is happening now is what is happening between Ukraine and Russia,” he stated.
Reacting further the text he cited in scriptures, he noted 1 Chronicles 21:7 showed that
1 Chro. 21:7 showed that God smote Isreal for the sin that David committed.
He said, “If the devil cause you to sin, he can predict the punishment that God will give you. Why? Because he was once a PA to the Almighty God. He knows how God punishes people that commits specific offences.
“If I can get this one to do ritual, he knows what God will do. If I can get this one to lie, he knows what God will do. If I can get this one to commit small adultery, he knows how God will react. He knows, we don’t know.
“God did not smite David. In fact, David requested that God should smite him. God struck Isreal.”
He pointed that many would think that God is unjust for smiting Isreal for the sin of David.
Odutola revealed, “One question for you: is God just? Settle one thing in your heart forever.
Anytime you see what seems to be God not being just, convince and persuade yourself that there’s something you don’t understand.
“When you see something that seems to be God’s injustice, persuade yourself that there’s something you don’t know yet,” he reiterated.
Odutola noted that decisions are constantly taken by forces with grave consequences on lives and destinies.
“People of God, every now and then, decisions are being taken by forces. Satan is unseen. Satan was the one who suggested. The purpose was to kill 70,000 men.”
