Nigeria’s coronavirus case hits 981

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that Nigeria has recorded a total of 981 COVID-19 cases as at April 23.

Confiance News gathered from NCDC’s Twitter feed on Friday.

“As at 11:30pm on April 23, Nigeria has 981 cases with 31 deaths and 197 discharged,” it tweeted.

A breakdown of the number shows that Nigeria has 108 new cases of coronavirus – 78 of the new cases are in Lagos, 14 in the FCT, five in Ogun State, four in Gombe State, three in Borno State, two in Akwa Ibom State and one each in Kwara and Plateau State.
