1) Rich in antioxidants
Antioxidants are molecules that fight free radicals. Free radicals unstable atoms that can damage cells, causing sickness and aging. According to Healthline, it contains antioxidants such as curry powder contains an abundance of antioxidants, such as curcumin, quercetin, pinene, lutein, zeaxanthin, and cuminal.

 

2) Improves brain health
The presence of turmeric and curcumin in the mix helps to improve mental health which could act against Alzheimer’s disease.

 

3) Reduces inflammation

Inflammation is the body’s immune system’s response to an irritant. The irritant might be a germ, but it could also be a foreign object, such as a splinter in your finger.

However, the Tumeric, Coriander and chili pepper in the curry blend fights inflammation.

 

4) Boosts digestive health
The spice mix in curry relieves stomach gas and improves digestive health.

 

5) Possess anti-cancer properties
Most of the spices in curry have anti-cancer effects, particularly, tumeric. According to Healthline, it induces cancer cell death and inhibits the spread of cancer cells by suppressing specific signaling pathways in the body.

 

6) Contains antibacterial properties
Curry powder contains coriander and cumin, which fights bacteria. According to Benedenhealth, it fights against foodborne diseases and hospital infections. It also has antifungal effects.

 

7) Improves bone health
Tumeric in curry helps in the repair and growth of bones.
