Final year student dies inside well while fleeing from SARS

A student of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State has reportedly died when he fell into an abandoned well near his hostel.

According to reports, the final year Business Administration student fell into the well while being chased by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

He was missing for four days before his body was discovered by fellow students.

The report indicated that the hostel of Saliu Haruna was invaded by the officers on Friday night. Scared by the sudden invasion, all the occupants fled in different directions into the surrounding bushes.

Unfortunately for Haruna, he fell inside an abandoned well. He was subsequently declared missing since no one knew what became of him after the raid. However, after almost four days of intense search, his body was, today, discovered in the well.
