Christians are expected to agents of remarkable impacts. Scripture calls believers to be set apart, not swept into the tide of worldly values that dilute conviction and erode holiness.

The wife of the Provincial Pastor of Lagos Province 40, Olubunmi Odutola, stressed the need for christians to be sons and daughters of landmark impacts.

Reading from the book of 2Corinthians 6:17-18, she noted why as heirs of landmark impacts, Christians should be separate from the world.

The slogan, “If can’t beat them, you join them” shouldn’t be heard among Christians. We need to be separate from the world. It’s one thing to know the word, it’s another thing to be doers of the word. As Christians, we should be doers of the word.”

Confiance News gathered that being a Christian isn’t just about hearing the Word—it’s about living it, embodying truth in action, and resisting the temptation to blend in when God has called us to stand out.

This charge is especially urgent for parents, whose influence shapes the spiritual compass of the next generation. When parents model obedience to God and a life of integrity, they don’t just raise children—they raise disciples. In a culture that rewards imitation, Christians are called to transformation.
