Can glories fly back? Hear from experts

By Chioma Obinagwam

A rich man was reading a newspaper in his car while in traffic. Suddenly, he looked up and saw a newspaper vendor. He recognised the face but wanted to confirm if he was right. So, he called the name of the person he thought he knew. “Tunji, Tunji,” he shouted. Then, the vendor turned and responded. It became clear to him that he was right with his guess.
“Are you the son of Chief… . Your father was the one who made me who I am today. What happened?” he asked. At that point, Tunji began to narrate his ordeal. How life had dealt him a blow.
The wealthy man asked him to enter the car and tell him all that had befallen him.
Later, the wealthy man got him a good job and Tunji’s life was transformed.

Reacting to the story, the Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Solidrock Parish, Pastor Bola Odutola, said: “glories can fly back.” Tunji’s glory flew back the day he met his destiny helper while selling newspapers.

What is glory?

Glory can be understood in several ways depending on the context. In general, glory refers to high honour, praise, or distinction earned by notable achievements or remarkable qualities.

Citing the book of Hosea 9:11 in the New International Version (NIV) of the bible, he said: “Ephraim’s glory will fly away like a bird— no birth, no pregnancy, no conception.”

Confiance News gathered that the above scriptures imply that a man or woman’s glory can fly away. Therefore, if glories can fly away, they can still fly back.

Citing the book of Luke 5:26, he said: “There are satanic strange things and there are godly strange things. The reason why they are still arguing with you in your family is because they have not seen sufficient acts of God.”

“God is going to dislocate your adversary. Whilst you are still rejoicing on one and another one will break out,” he prayed.

Prayers

1. Every useless things and contrary things written concerning you, shall be cancelled (Jeremiah 22:30).

Reacting to the prayer, Odutola said: “The good thing with God is that the final issue is always resting with man. I don’t know why God made it like that. That man can speak and change God’s mind.
You can go and meet God in Jesus rights. You can come to God and marshal out your points. You can alter the course of your life with your mouth.”

2) Every contrary thing ever written against you by satanic forces will never come to pass.

According to the book of Exodus 7:10-13, the magicians went into the palace with rods and returned without their rods. The magicians were powerful. They came into the palace with power but they left the palace without power.

“People in the dark world learnt everything from us. Everything they do was copied from us. Everything in the supernatural world moves at the speed of words.

3) Father, deprive my adversaries of strength in every area of my life.

4) Every landmines in your tomorrow be destroyed in Jesus name.

5) My tomorrow answer to prayers; be colourful, fight the adversaries, be prosperous and be glorious.
